MSC Opera cruise schedule

We have the new itinerary for the MSC Opera (which will arrive in South Africa on the 20th November 2012), and we're hoping to get prices by the end of this month. The Opera will be starting the season in Durban with cruises to Mozambique and will end the season in Cape Town. Note the new, exotic destination available for Christmas 2012 to Anakoa, located in Madagascar.

MSC Opera cruise ship

From 10 March 2012, BA passengers travelling on the following routes from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport will need to check in at Terminal B (domestic departures): JNB-Harare, JNB-Victoria Falls, JNB-Livingstone, JNB-Windhoek & JNB-Mauritius.

Air traffic increased by 2.9% in the 3 months from Nov 2011 to Jan 2012 compared to the same period a year before (due to added international flights & Velvet Sky being around).

The Purple shall rule! "My husband and I fly with Turkish Airlines at least twice a year and book and pay online well in advance, sometimes nine months in advance. The only snag in booking in advance is that I can never secure the seats I prefer, because the option is not available if you purchase your ticket one hundred days prior to departure. Other than the 24 hour online check-in service, the airline's website does not have the option to choose your seats once your e-ticket has been issued. One has to phone the Turkish Airline Office to secure ones seat 100 days prior to departure, and by then, the seats I prefer are already taken. This I don't understand, because I diarize the 100 day option and phone at 8am on that day, just to be told that the seats I want are taken ...? When I do eventually verbally secure my seats, the Turkish Airline Office refuses to confirm the seat preference by e-mail. On more than one occasion the seats that were telephonically promised to me, are not available upon check-in. I don't expect much ..., but surely the first come first served should be the norm ....?"
